may favourites

Hi!

Here are my may favourites, I have so many at the moment but I had to really whittle it down to my absolute best favourites or we would be here all day! I will also link at the bottom where you can get the products.

so here we go...

my first favourite is the Rimmel match perfection face powder in the shade 001 translucent. I love this as it's really light but the coverage is brilliant. I have an oily T zone and that is mostly where I use it an it works wonders for me I don't like to use a face powder all over my face as I like my skin to look dewy and fresh but for my oily areas and to touch up though out the day its perfect.

                                                                      £6.99/10g

My next favourite is the L'Occitane crème radieuse hydration cream, this is a cream I am in love with. I got this sample pot in my may glossy box and I will definitely be buying the full size one when I run out of this one.
You apply to your face and neck morning and night and it claims to plump, smooth and make the skin look radiant, and it does exactly that as well as making my skin tone look even. it is a bit pricey but I would say it is 100% worth it.

                                                           £30.00/50ml (full size)

My favourite brush of may is the real techniques stippling brush, I've wanted one of these for so long as I love how soft the real techniques brushes are. I was a bit hesitant as first to use it with my foundation because I apply it with my fingers usually as I never get a good enough result with a brush so I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was but I was so impressed the first time I used it. The results were an airbrushed flawless finish and I even found that used less foundation as this buffed it into my skin as to usually just smearing it around with my hand.

£10.99

Next is the Barry M Gelly nail polish in the colour prickly pear 316. its a really shinny pastel lilac colour, its a perfect fresh colour which I have been wearing all spring. I will definitely be buying more colours in the Gelly range as it still looks fresh and shinny after 3 days wear, which is perfect for me as I don't get time repaint my nails every other day. so this has a big thumbs up from me!

                                                                      £3.99/10ml

the mascara that I have been using non stop over may is the by jelly pong pong fairy lashes one, and again this one i got in my glossy box and it's actually full size so I was super impressed with that and will 100% be purchasing this! it is a water proof mascara which I'm yet to test out if it actually is but I will do that and let you know how water proof it is but aside from that its light and doesn't clump and my lashes still feel soft and not hard and crispy when its on. I also don't wear false lashes when I use this mascara as it makes my lashes looks so long on its own. I really am so happy with this product and think its the best mascara I've tried so far.

                                                                      £15.00/8ml

Another favourite is this lipstick from the Body shop, its the colour glide lip colour in the shade neon pink 59. I am totally in love with this lipstick its so moist on your lips even though the colour dries on you lips it doesn't make you lips feel dry. the best thing I love is that if you just lightly apply one coat to your lips it's just a light pink glossy look or you can apply about the three coats and its a matte bold colour.

                                                                        £10.00/4g

And last but not least my obsession of the month the eos organic lip balm in honeysuckle honeydew, I love, love, love it! it tastes amazing my lips feel so soft and moisturised and I literally take it with me very where. This is a definite must have and I can never imagine not having this to go to when my lips are dry or chapped now. if you haven't tried it you must and a bonus is it comes in so many different flavours so there definitely one to suit everyone.

I'm also very excited to try more eos products!

Spend or save....designer vs high street

Hi!

So it's mine and my boyfriend James' two year anniversary this week and I've ask him to get me a new handbag but like any normal man he hasn't got a clue what one get me so I have had to show him a few I like and he is going to pick out of the ones I like. So at least I know I'll like it :)
And while I was choosing and saving lots of pictures to my IPad of gorgeous bags I love, I thought I would do a post on designer and designer inspired high street.
So if you like me can't afford to always splurge out on that beautiful designer bag here are some just as nice and with just as nice price tag....enjoy!

DIY midi ring tutorial

Hi!

I just wanted to share with you my first ever video I've made and edited, it has taken me quite a while to get it done but I am really pleased with it as like I said it is my first attempt so I expected it to not even be anything how its turned out. And also with it being filmed on my iPad it was so hard to actually get it in the right position but with a little help from some DVDs and a hairspray can it worked!

I've had to post the link as i couldn't  upload the video on to here.

Wedding daze

Hi!

So as I mentioned in my last post i had a wedding to go to Friday just gone and it really was a lovely day. I'm usually not a fan of weddings as they can be so military and I just feel tense and can't relax and enjoy myself, But I really did this time. It was relaxed and everyone was so friendly. Ethan came with us and he was so good in the church even though by the end of the ceremony he was bored out of his little brain!
I was really nervous because it was my boyfriends family and it was the first time I have met them all so I was really trying to make an extra effort and look my best, but thankfully his family were lovely and made me feel so welcome.

My outfit

The dress and bag is south from very.co.uk.
The shoes are love label from very.co.uk.
The black blazer is from new look.

It was a real child friendly day and Ethan was not the only child running around and using the decorations as toys so that was especially what thought was great as it didn't make me feel on edge.
All the children got one of these cute little boxes with their name on and inside there were sweets, a car and a colouring book with crayons. So that kept him amused for a while.

Some pictures from the day

Technical difficulties!!

Hi!

So I'm getting majorly stressed out as I've just finished writing my post on my outfit for the wedding I went to on Friday and my iPad goes crazy and decides to not work so I'm going to have to try again tomorrow as I've now resorted to a nice relaxing bath to try to chill out!

Wish me luck for tomorrow when I'm going to try again.

Nightey night

Catching up

So I haven't posted since last Friday as I haven't been well, me and my boyfriend decided to take Ethan to the sea side on Saturday and we didn't even make it out of the car as I had a major panic attack. so we had to get the paramedics out and go straight home....which wasn't fun driving for an hour with a severe migraine and feeling like you going to be sick any minute!

And now Ethan is unwell! So I'm currently up with him, making jam on toast, giving doses of calpol and giving lots of cuddles. I think he has chicken pox so a fun few days ahead of me!!! And we have a family wedding to go to on Friday so I'm hoping it isn't actually chicken pox. (fingers crossed for me)

I have been franticly looking for a dress and today I finally found one and considering it was just one of those "oh that will do" purchases I actually love it! So now I am very excited for the wedding. And then I have another wedding next Friday too, so another outfit is needed... Oh the pain of all the shopping I'm having to do! Haha!.....NOT!

I've also been filming my first video too and editing it, which is soo much harder than I thought! But hopefully it will be on soon :)

Oh! And on Monday I got my date for my interview for college to study beauty therapy so I'm very excited and nervous about that!

That's pretty much my week so far, so until the next time......Toddle pips my loves

Body shop party and purchases

Hi!

So last Friday I had a Body shop party I invited all my girl friends over made a lovely dinner for everyone and cracked open a few bottles of rosé, it was a lovely night especially getting to try all the products out in the comfort of your own home and getting your friends opinion on things too.

I had never used Body shop products before so I didn't really know what to expect...but I was really impressed and will definitely be buying from there a again.

As the party host I got a free gift which was their vanilla body mist, which smells amazing and is a nice light scent for day to day wear and because I booked a party in April a free bottle of wine too! Then in the first game we played I won the wild rose hand cream which again smells amazing and is fantastic, it's a 100ml tube and you only need a small amount for your hands  (I do my elbows at the same time) so it's going to last a while, it is a hand cream for mature skin as it helps the appearance of brown spots so if you looking for a product to moisturise and fade then I would definitely recommend this.  I also won on the raffle an eye definer in a smokey blue colour which I've used a lot since having it, it's a lovely soft pencil and glides on so easy.

The products I really loved and brought were the all-in-one BB cream in number 02 medium, a vitamin E face mist to freshen up your face though the day or set your make up, this I was especially impressed with as I used the tester that night and my face felt lovely, fresh and hydrated all night, so I'm really excited about using that! Then I also got a lipstick which when it got delivered was not the one I wanted so I was a bit gutted about that so I'm waiting for the one I wanted to come.

It was a really good night in with friends and I would definitely recommend the Body shop :)

All my goodies!!
